Terms of Use
The rules of the road for using this site — including the limits of what we do.
Terms of Use
Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of gosolarexitgroup.com and any services offered through it by Solar Exit Group (“Solar Exit Group,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By using this site or submitting a case review request, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
We are not a law firm
This is the most important thing on this page, so it is stated plainly:
Solar Exit Group is not a law firm. We do not practice law. We do not provide legal advice, legal opinions, or legal representation, and we do not represent you in any legal matter.
What we actually do is administrative: we gather documents, organize them, prepare a case file, and — with your authorization — refer that file to independent, licensed law firms who evaluate it on their own terms.
No attorney-client relationship is formed by visiting this site, submitting the case review form, calling us, emailing us, or exchanging documents with us. An attorney-client relationship is formed only when you and a licensed law firm sign a written engagement agreement with each other. That decision belongs to you and to that firm.
Nothing on this site should be relied on as legal advice about your particular situation. Laws differ by state and change over time. If you need legal advice, consult a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction.
No guarantee of results
We make no promise, warranty, or guarantee about the outcome of any matter.
- We cannot guarantee that a law firm will accept your case.
- We cannot guarantee that your solar contract will be cancelled, modified, or reduced.
- We cannot guarantee that a lien will be released or that money will be recovered.
- We cannot guarantee any particular timeline.
Every case turns on its own facts, its own documents, and the law of the state where the property sits. Descriptions of possible remedies on this site describe what attorneys may pursue in some situations — not what will happen in yours. Results vary, and past results do not guarantee or predict similar outcomes.
Eligibility and your responsibilities
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts to use this site. By submitting information, you represent that:
- The information you give us is true, accurate, and complete to the best of your knowledge.
- You are the homeowner or an authorized party with respect to the solar agreement you are asking about, or you have permission to share the information you are providing.
- You will promptly tell us if any information changes.
Inaccurate or incomplete information can materially damage a case file. You are responsible for what you submit.
Do not stop performing under your contract
Nothing on this site is a recommendation to stop making payments, stop performing, or otherwise breach an agreement you have signed. Doing so may expose you to default, collection activity, credit damage, litigation, or other consequences.
Decisions about whether to continue paying should be made with a licensed attorney who has reviewed your specific documents. Do not treat this website, or any conversation with our intake staff, as authorization to stop paying.
Communications and privacy of what you send
Information you send us is not privileged and not confidential in the legal sense, because we are not a law firm and no attorney-client relationship exists. Communications with us could, in some circumstances, be discoverable.
Please do not send confidential, sensitive, or time-critical information through this website or by unencrypted email. Do not send Social Security numbers, financial account credentials, or government identification numbers through the case review form.
By providing your phone number or email address, you consent to be contacted about your inquiry, including by automated calls and text messages. Consent is not a condition of any service. See our Privacy Policy for details and for how to opt out.
Referrals to independent law firms
When we refer a prepared case file to a law firm, that firm is an independent business that we do not own, control, employ, or supervise. We do not direct their legal judgment, their strategy, or their decision whether to take a case.
Any engagement, fee arrangement, or scope of representation is a matter strictly between you and that firm, set out in a written agreement signed by you. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, advice, fees, or outcomes of any law firm or attorney. Your remedies for any dispute about legal services lie with the firm providing them.
Intellectual property
The content on this site — text, graphics, logos, images, layout, and code — is owned by Solar Exit Group or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. The Solar Exit Group name, logo, and “Straightforward Solutions” tagline are our marks.
You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, modify, frame, scrape, or create derivative works from this site without our prior written permission.

- Use the site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
- Submit information about another person without their authorization.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site, its servers, or any related system.

Third-party links and content
This site links to websites we do not operate, including our parent company and outside informational resources. Links are provided for convenience only. We do not endorse, control, or take responsibility for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party site.
Disclaimer of warranties
This site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the content is accurate, complete, or current. Information about solar contracts, liens, statutes of limitation, and legal remedies is general in nature, varies by state, and changes over time.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Solar Exit Group and its parent, affiliates, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of this site or our services — whether based in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other theory, and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to this site or our services will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or one hundred dollars ($100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Solar Exit Group and its parent, affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the site, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any law or the rights of a third party, or the inaccuracy of information you submit to us.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or this site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Weber County, Utah, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
Any claim must be brought within one year after it arises, to the extent permitted by law.
Nothing in this section limits any right you may have to bring a complaint before a government agency or consumer-protection authority.
Changes to these terms
We may revise these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted, and the “Last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect the revision. Your continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.
Severability and entire agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be limited or severed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Solar Exit Group regarding this site.
